Air rooms

At Terminal 4 of Madrid Airport, floor -1, there are 22 air rooms, which are functional rooms, a kind of temporary hotel rooms where you can spend a few hours in and rest a bit. At Air rooms you have the following services included:

Prayer rooms

Within Madrid Airport there are several spaces for praying:
- “Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe” Chapel: located at Terminal 1, floor 2. It is a public space opened from 06:00 to 22:30.
- “Nuestra Señora de Loreto” Chapel: located at Terminal 2, floor 1. It is a public space opened from 06:00 to 22:30.
- Chapel of Santiago: located at Terminal 4, floor 4. It is a departures public space opened Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00.
- Mosques: there is one mosque at the Terminal 1, floor 2 and another at the Terminal 4, floor 2 (departures).
- Multi-confessional chapels: there are two spaces for oratory, one at Terminal 4, floor 2 (departures) and another at Terminal 1, floor 2. Opened from 06:00 to 22:30.

Meeting rooms

There are 7 meeting rooms at the Madrid Airport:
- “Auditorio”: at Terminal 2 with capacity for 110 people.
- “Autogiro I and II”: at Terminal 2 with capacity from 25 to 50 people
- “Goya”: at Terminal 2 with capacity from 80 to 110 people
- “Manzanares”: at Terminal 2 with capacity for 14 people
- “Turmalina”: at Terminal 1 with capacity for 20 to 50 people
- “Press room”: at Terminal 4 with capacity for 110 people


Smoking areas

Please note that smoking is only allowed in the VIP Lounge at Terminal 1.

It is completely forbidden to smoke at the terminals of Madrid Airport.


VIP lounges

Madrid Airport counts with various VIP lounges for the passengers who are waiting for their flight. In these private lounges you can enjoy of private catering services, newspapers and information upon request. If VIP lounges belong to AENA the passenger should bring any bonus card such as Priority Pass, Nice Lounge, Lounge Pass, The Club Card, etc. Concretely, the VIP lounges offered in Madrid Airport are the following:

- Neptuno: At the floor 2 of Terminal 4S, it is a room just for non-Schengen flights
- Plaza Mayor: In the floor 1 of the Terminal 4 it is a room for Schengen flights
- Cibeles: Located at the floor 2 of the Terminal 1, is a room reserved for Non-Schengen flights and it is open 24/7.
- Puerta de Alcalá: At the floor 0 of the Terminal 2, this room is reserved for domestic and Schengen flights.
- Puerta del Sol: Located at the floor 2 of the Terminal 3, this rom offers private space for domestic and Schengen flighs.
- Premium lounge: At the Terminal 4, first level, includes VIP services such as checking in luggage, escort to the runway, private security checkpoint and baggage reclaim.

Family Facilities

There is a playground for children in Terminal 2 and nursery room in Terminals 2 and 4. There are always staff and there is an area to change nappies, bath your children, heat food etc. There is also an unaccompanied children’s lounge in Terminal 4.
