Madrid Airport Terminal 2

Madrid Airport Terminal 2 is usually the one for European and Intra-Schengen flights, and also handling some intercontinental flights. It is the oldest building at the airport.

 

Terminal 2 is home of boarding gates C and D: C43-C50 (floor 1 area C) and D53-D66 (floor 1 area D).

 

 

Transfer between terminals

Frequent shuttle buses connect Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. See more information below:

 

- 06:30 am to 11:30 pm (every 5 minutes)

- 11:30 pm to 01:50 am (every 20 minutes)

- 01:50 am to 06:30 am (every 40 minutes)

 

Transfer between terminal 2 to terminal 1 and 3

From the gates area is possible to connect to Terminal 3 (D53-D66) and to Terminal 1 (C49-C43).

On the other hand, connection to Terminal 3 is also possible from the ground level.

 

Passengers who wish to transfer to Terminal 4, please proceed to board the underground train.

 

 

Levels

Madrid Airport Terminal 2 has the levels described below:

 

- Ground level: Arrivals and baggage claim area (center). For the baggage reclaim go to the Hall 6 (domestic flights and Schengen) on the floor 0 of the Terminal 2.

From this level it is possible to connect to Terminal 3.

 

- First level: Check-in. You can find which check-in desk is assigned to your flight on the information screens.

 

- Second level: Departures. Please note that the boarding area is located in the center of this level and is split into D gates D53-D66 (west) with connection to Terminal 3, and C49-C43 (east) connecting to Terminal 1.
